The Language of Presentation is a course in the Department of Communication Design & Technology at Parsons School of Design.In the course students explore the function of presentations throughout the design process. Course discussions focus on communication scenarios, information organization, and rhetorical analysis. Assignments culminate in two major presentations, an informative presentation and a persuasive presentation.
At the conclusion of the course the students work is published in Approaching Systems, a collaborative book that contains all their course work.
Approaching Systems is made up of two parts, the first part contains their system research, while the second half contains their design proposals and analysis.
